Just ask: "Put this on the lobby TVs Friday night"

Connect Claude, or another AI assistant that supports MCP connectors, to your Church TV OS account. Then schedule signage, build Kids playlists and slide decks, and check what's on every screen, in plain words, from your phone or computer.

What it looks like

Say what you want. Check the preview. Say yes.

The assistant works out the screens, days and times, then shows you exactly what will change before anything does.

  • It reads your rooms, screens and schedules, so "the lobby" and "this Sunday" mean what you'd expect
  • Anything that changes a screen comes back as a preview first. Nothing happens until you say yes.
  • Changed your mind? "Undo that" puts it back.

Show the Youth Night graphic on the Gym TV every Friday from 6:30 to 9:30pm, and keep it up the whole time.

Here's the plan. Nothing has changed yet:

Gym TV · Fridays, 6:30–9:30pm, starting Fri Oct 30
"Youth Night", held for the whole slot
Outside that time the Gym TV plays its usual loop.

Shall I schedule it?

Yes

Done. It starts this Friday at 6:30pm. Say "undo that" if you change your mind.

What you can ask for

All three modules, plus the busywork

Signage

"Show these two graphics every 10 seconds on the lobby screens, weekdays 9 to 6." One-off events, weekly slots, date ranges, or one image held all day.

Kids

"Schedule Week 3 in the Kids Room every Sunday at 9 and 11 until Christmas." Build playlists of videos, countdowns and lyrics, and skip or swap a single week.

Slides and songs

Paste a song's lyrics and it's added to your song library, split into verses and choruses. "Make a Sunday deck with a welcome slide, a 5 minute countdown and this song."

Files

Share a Canva, Google Drive or Dropbox link and the assistant brings the graphic in. Or it gives you an upload link to use on your phone.

Live

"Play the welcome deck in the Auditorium now." "Show 'Parents to the Kids Room please' on the lobby TV."

Tidy up

"What's on every screen this Sunday?" "Archive the fall series decks." Everything the assistant makes goes in a "Made by assistant" folder.

Safe on a Sunday morning

It can only do what you can do

  • Your sign-in, your permissions. The assistant signs in as you. A volunteer who can only edit the Kids rooms gets an assistant that can only edit the Kids rooms.
  • Preview first, always. Changes to screens, and anything that removes something, wait for your yes.
  • Undo. Every change is logged and can be reversed.
  • Service-time guard. It warns you before changing a room within 30 minutes of a service.
  • Your work is protected. It won't remove schedules your team made in the dashboard unless you clearly ask.
  • We don't see your chats. Church TV OS only receives the actions the assistant takes. See our privacy policy.
